About: Exhibitor Categories

Overview

Exhibitor Categories are metadata that can be filtered in the Exhibitor views and is shown on Exhibitor Profiles.

Categories are an additional filtering option on top of the existing Exhibitor Groups & Types, allowing for filtering not found in Interests etc. These categories are often most useful where there are a small number of Exhibitors and there are different categories of interest, but where Interests are not utilised for the Event.

Pre-Requisites

Instructions

  1. Access the functionality via the “Exhibition” module, then "Exhibitors" which is found via the charcoal navigational bar on the left-hand side of the platform.

  2. Click the “Exhibitor Categories” tab on top of the screen and then ‘Create Exhibitor Category’

  3. Within this page, you can now input the details for your Exhibitor Category. Please ensure you are completing all mandatory fields. 

    • Name - mandatory field

    • Exhibitor Category - enter HEX colour

Key Items & Recommendations

  • Categories are a useful tool, but where possible Exhibitor Types & Interests should be used as a primary categorisation method
