The most popular workflow is to accept Abstracts first, then review them, then accept or reject and request accepted authors to submit their Full Papers; potentially followed by Digital Poster and/or Presentation submissions.
Ideally, first you need to mark relevant Abstract submissions as “Accepted”.
You can do this individually against each of the submissions by clicking 'Submissions' in the Tool Bar on the top and then 'Manage Submissions'.
Or you can do it in bulk by clicking 'Submissions' in the Tool Bar on the top and then 'Bulk Accept/Reject'.
Then to setup full paper submissions, go to Setup – Submissions – Full Paper Settings.
Set the below settings.
Please note evexus cannot auto-reformat full papers as they could contain more complex formatting such as columns of text, so unlike the Abstract, the full paper document is expected to contain all the author details, names, affiliations, etc.
If you wanted another submit of authors to submit full papers, edit the "Allow Submissions From" setting accordingly.
Once you’ve done this, the authors can login and submit their papers. ('Submit Full Paper' will appear on their dashboards and in the dropdown in the 'Submissions' Tool Bar on the top).
You could also use the Communications module to email and inform authors to submit.
